Unboxing the Kral Arms KR9 & KR19 Pistols

We kicked things off by unboxing these beauties at the range. Both the KR9 and KR19 come in a hard carry case, making them easy to transport and protect. Inside the case, you get a variety of accessories:

  • A user manual for maintenance and troubleshooting
  • An extra grip for custom comfort
  • A trigger lock system for added safety
  • Cleaning rods with various brushes (nylon, felt, copper) and a little bit of oil for maintenance
  • Two magazines

Let’s break down the details of each model.

The Kral Arms KR19: Full-Size Power

The KR19 is a 9mm semi-automatic pistol that resembles a Glock in design, but with its own unique flair. It’s a Turkish-made firearm with excellent build quality. Here are the key specs:

  • Caliber: 9mm
  • Magazine Capacity: 15 rounds + 1 (16 total)
  • Weight: 890g (without magazine: 665g)
  • Length: 171mm
  • Barrel Length: 102mm with a 1:10 twist rate and 6 grooves
  • Sights: True Glow or standard iron sights, depending on your preference

This pistol is designed for reliability and accuracy, with a smooth single-action, striker-fired trigger system. The fluted barrel adds an extra layer of coolness and functionality, ensuring consistent shots whether you're at the range or in a self-defense scenario.

The Kral Arms KR9: Compact and Concealable

Next up, we’ve got the KR9, a compact version that’s ideal for concealed carry. This little powerhouse is perfect for those looking for a compact, reliable pistol for everyday use. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Caliber: 9mm
  • Magazine Capacity: 7 rounds + 1 (or 9 rounds with the extended mag shoe)
  • Weight: 541g (without magazine: 480g)
  • Length: 157mm
  • Barrel Length: 81mm with the same 1:10 twist and 6 grooves as the KR19
  • Trigger System: Single-action, hammer-fired

The KR9 also comes with additional grip options, making it customizable for different hand sizes. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and ideal for both men and women. Despite its compact size, this pistol packs a serious punch.

At the Range: Putting the KR9 & KR19 to the Test

Once the unboxing was done, we took both pistols downrange to see how they performed. We loaded up some custom 124-grain reloads and put the pistols through their paces at about 10 meters.

First up, the KR9. Despite its smaller size, it felt comfortable and solid in the hand. With the extended mag shoe, my grip was perfect, and the recoil was surprisingly manageable. This is an excellent option for concealed carry, especially for those looking for something compact but powerful.

Then we fired the KR19, and wow—it did not disappoint. The trigger is smooth, and the shots felt quick and precise. No jams, no malfunctions—just pure, reliable shooting. As fast as you can pull the trigger, the KR19 responds without hesitation. It’s a great option for both self-defense and sport shooting.

Safety Features

Both pistols come with robust safety features. The KR19 has an ambidextrous safety and a hammer drop safety. You can carry it cocked and locked, and if needed, all you have to do is drop the safety and fire. It’s practical for both everyday carry and sport shooting.

The KR9 doesn’t have an external hammer, but it does feature a trigger safety, making it a safer option for those who prefer a simpler, no-hammer design.

Final Thoughts

Both the KR9 and KR19 exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a reliable, well-built 9mm pistol, these Turkish-made Kral Arms models are definitely worth considering. Whether you need a full-size pistol for sport shooting or a compact one for everyday carry, these two options deliver on all fronts.

We’ll leave all the details, including pricing, in the comments section of our video and on our website. So, if you’re in the market for a new firearm, check these out—you won’t be disappointed!
