Element Optics built the ETX around one idea: a single reflex sight that works everywhere you need one. It's designed to give a fast, precise and reliable aiming solution across pistols, shotguns and carbines. Built on the popular RMR footprint and supplied with a Picatinny adapter, the ETX covers the essentials of a multi-purpose red dot — intuitive controls, a large window, a low-profile base and a rugged design. Whether you're carrying concealed on auto-brightness, running a practical pistol match, or mounting it offset as a co-witness on a carbine, the ETX has one job: to never let you down.
The 3 MOA dot is the precision option in the range. It's small enough to shoot accurately at distance without swallowing the target, while still being quick to find under pressure — the balance most shooters land on when they're using one optic for both speed work and precision.
Where the ETX earns its place is in the details. Ten brightness settings — eight for daylight and two for night use — cover every lighting condition, and an optional automatic brightness mode reads ambient light through a sensor on the front of the unit and picks the right setting for you. Shake-to-wake motion activation brings the dot up from standby the instant the rifle or pistol moves. Together, these two features push battery life as far as 42,000 hours on a single CR1632.
Controls are handled by a button on each side of the housing — brightness, shake-to-wake and auto-brightness all adjust from there, and the buttons include a lock function to prevent accidental changes mid-match.
The mounting and battery arrangement is the practical winner. The battery changes from the topside of the mounting plate, so the optic never has to come off the gun — which means no re-zeroing after a battery swap. Mounting is either direct to a Trijicon RMR footprint or via the included Weaver/Picatinny adapter.
Element backs the ETX with a transferable three-year warranty (proof of purchase required). If a unit can't be repaired and is no longer in production, Element states it will be replaced with a model of equal value.
