Zastava Sporting Rifle M85, Cal. .223 Remington

The M85 Sporting rifles are based on the traditional concept of locking system that Zastava applies in bolt action sporting rifles.  Mini Mauser is the commonly accepted name for sporting rifles that use smaller-energy ammunition, but keep the fundamental operating principles of the military rifle made in 1948.  The barrel is made from chrome-vanadium steel by cold-forging.  The stock is made from selected quality walnut and has the Monte Carlo stock shape.  The safety is a lever-type that blocks the trigger mechanism.  

NOTE: A valid SAPS competency certificate is required for firearm purchases.

After having ascertained which firearm you would like to own, you will then pay for the firearm in full, once this has been done you will receive all the relevant paperwork for the firearm.

The SAPS 271 application form with relating firearm details, all our relevant details along with a 350(a) form, is issued to you which is then used in conjunction with other paperwork (see applying for SAPS Competency/Firearm License for the full list) to apply for your Firearm License at your nearest SAPS.
